Did you know, most animal experts would advise you not to try and catch a skunk on your own or trap them yourself? You want to be careful that you or your pet do not accidently corner or startle a skunk by accident.   This could result in you or your pets getting sprayed which makes everything a little bit worse.

As much as we need good people that answered number A1 and I agree with your family on answer number A2 especially on a cool day and believe me I hate to pass up a good deal so I cannot help but jump on answer number A3 but trust me no one in your family is going to give you a gold star or an A+ for effort for smelling like a skunk for the next week of your life. You may have found a whole new reason why you are sleeping on the couch.

Do you know what to do if you have skunks around your home?  We have done a lot of skunk work and know the ins and outs of this process. When you smell a skunk nearby, know that they are usually females and it might mean it is mating season. The more north you go, this will tend to happen when it gets a bit colder out.
