One bug that seems to make anyone scream is the dreaded roach! Big or small, quick or slow, dark or light, they are an unwanted pest that no one enjoys seeing in their home! We have discovered over 65 types of roaches found in the United States and our staff is trained and knowledgeable about them all.
We have inherent instincts for a reason. The reason we inherently dislike this insect, the roach, is because it is not healthy for us. Yes we think they are gross but more importantly roaches are just down right unhealthy. The most common health concern was thought to be food contamination, but modern findings are revealing even more.
Did you know that there was a research study funded to find out why there was more cases of childhood asemia in low income areas? You might assume, as I did, that it was their diet or other like reason. After an exhausted and thorough study, it was found that roaches were the culprit. Yes, roaches. The study concluded that the lack of quality pest control contributed to residents living with more roach populations. These roaches, as with all roaches, cast their exoskeletons (that outer shell) as they grow. The exoskeletons dry up and break up eventually becoming air borne and breathed in. When introduced to young, developing lungs this equated to more cases of childhood asemia. Gross but true and now you know. I do not know about you but low income or not I do not want my kids, my wife, myself or anyone else I know and love breathing anymore of this in than they have to.
